Joe and Daniel Schofield to publish cocktail book

Bartenders Joe and Daniel Schofield have penned a cocktail book featuring 100 classic recipes with a contemporary twist.

Schofield’s Fine and Classic Cocktails will launch in October 2019

The book, titled Schofield’s Fine and Classic Cocktails, will also include guest recipes from some of the world’s top bartenders.

Each recipe will outline how to make the classic cocktail using modern ingredients, expert techniques, high-quality ice, and will include personal recommendations regarding the most suitable spirits, mixers and garnishes for each drink.

Due to be published on 3 October 2019 by Octopus Publishing Group, the hardback copy will retail for RRP £16.99 (US$21).

Joe Schofield has previously worked at the American Bar at The Savoy Hotel, London, and The Zetter Townhouse, London, as well as The Tippling Club in Singapore.

He is due to open Schofield’s bar in Manchester, UK, this year in partnership with his brother, Daniel.

In 2018, Joe Schofield scooped the award for International Bartender of the Year at the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards.
