Quick Brown Fox Coffee Liqueur launches in UK

A new coffee liqueur made without artificial ingredients has launched in the UK, called Quick Brown Fox.

Quick Brown Fox taps into the demand for coffee-based liqueurs

The coffee liqueur is made in Dunedin, New Zealand, using a blend of fair trade and organic roasted coffees from farms in Sumatra, Colombia and Papua New Guinea, along with a dash of cinnamon from India.

Quick Brown Fox is recommended served in a digestif, neat or on the rocks. It can also be consumed in cocktails, desserts or with a dash of cream.

The 20% abv liqueur is described as a “complex dessert bowl with rich coffee ground aroma from a specialty café” on the nose. The palate is said to be “like dunking a spiced cinnamon scroll with sweet caramel chocolate syrup centre in a dark roast French press coffee”.

To ensure that the coffee and cinnamon is at the forefront of the liqueur, no artificial ingredients or additives have been used in the production.

Founder Arjun Haszard said: “I found myself curiously obsessing over coffee, and all its complexities. It was an incredibly difficult path to create a coffee liqueur with nothing artificial but what we’ve created is truly distinctive and an experience for the palate.”

Bottled at 20% abv, Quick Brown Fox Coffee Liqueur is available from Master of Malt and The Whisky Exchange for RRP £25.25 (US$31.70) per 500ml bottle.
