Pernod Ricard reshuffles regional executive teams

Jameson owner Pernod Ricard has made a number of executive appointments across its regional businesses as is customary at the start of the company’s fiscal year.

Jameson owner Pernod Ricard has announced a reshuffle of its regional executives

The reshuffle is part of Pernod Ricard’s policy of internal promotion and mobility.

Effective from 1 July, the executive reshuffle saw Guillaume Girard-Reydet named managing director of Pernod Ricard España and Iberia, and Benoit Laug appointed president and chief executive officer of Pernod Ricard Southern LATAM.

Girard-Reydet joined Pernod Ricard in 1993 and has previously worked as sales director of Ricard and chief executive officer of Pernod Ricard Poland.

Meanwhile, Laug previously held the positions of managing director of the Pernod Ricard Southern Central Europe cluster and managing director of Pernod Ricard Argentina and Uruguay.

In addition, Paul-Robert Bouhier has been appointed managing director of Pernod Ricard South Africa, having previously held positions at Orangina Pampryl and Pernod Ricard-owned Irish Distillers.

Mikkel Olsson, who worked as marketing director of Pernod Ricard Norway and held positions with Carlsberg and wholesaler Arcus, has been appointed country manager of Pernod Ricard Norway.

Finally, Thibault Cuny, former president and chief executive officer of Pernod Ricard Southern LATAM, has been named managing director of Pernod Ricard South Asia, and Narek Melkonyan, who formerly worked as head of sales and marketing of Pernod Ricard Armenia, has been appointed country manager of Pernod Ricard Armenia.
