Liquorette opens London’s first self-serve cocktail bar
By Owen BellwoodLondon venue Liquorette is hoping to make cocktail culture more “accessible” with the launch of the capital’s first self-serve cocktail bar.
Liquorette has launched London’s first self-serve cocktail bar
The London bar, which recently launched the city’s first dedicated cocktail delivery service, will offer a host of self-serve options for guests at its Fitzrovia site.
Liquorette will offer bottled cocktails as well as drinks on tap for guests to pour their own cocktails from the bar’s All Star Cocktail menu.
The self-serve offering will change each month, and kicks off with a selection of Spritz cocktails including the Monkey See Monkey Do, made with Altos Tequila, banana, lime and Prosecco, and the Nordic Spritz, which combines Absolut Elyx vodka, Lillet rose and Champagne.
Alongside the tapped cocktail offering, Liquorette now features a self-serve ice bath filled with bottled cocktails including the Blood Orange Cosmopolitan and Rhubarb Negroni, along with a selection of beer and wine.
Liquorette says a table’s bill will be calculated by staff monitoring empty bottles.
For more advanced “budding bartenders”, Liquorette also offers the tools needed to craft your own cocktail at its upstairs bar – guests wishing to do so must undertake one of its cocktail masterclasses before they are allowed to step behind the bar.
