Zamora Company USA inks deal with Southern Glazer’s

Zamora Company’s US subsidiary has appointed Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits as the distributor for its brands across America.

Southern Glazer’s will distribute Zamora Company USA’s products, including Licor 43, Double Cross Vodka, Yellow Rose Whiskey and Martin Miller’s Gin.

Ray Lombard, executive vice president, supplier management and business development for Southern Glazer’s, said: “After bringing all their brands under one umbrella entity in the US, Zamora Company USA needed a distribution partner that could deliver the most efficient route-to-market.

“Only Southern Glazer’s, with our national footprint, could provide the type of alignment and scale Zamora Company USA requires as they increase their focus on growing their business in the US. We couldn’t be more excited to work together and help them take advantage of the enormous growth opportunity that exists for luxury spirits and wine in this market.”

Zamora Company USA was formed in 2018 as part of a joint venture between the Spanish company and US distributor Old Nassau Imports.

Earlier this month, Zamora Company announced its turnover grow by 16% to reach €196 million (US$219m) in 2018.
