Tito’s Handmade Vodka heads to Mongolia
Texas-based Tito’s Handmade Vodka is expanding its availability in Asia by launching in Mongolia this month.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka has expanded availability to Mongolia
Tito’s Handmade Vodka has partnered with distributor Silk Route Trading to enter the market, which will push the brand in Mongolia’s capital city: Ulaanbaatar.
John McDonnell, Tito’s managing director international, said: “Mongolia is a strategic geographic location for us, a crossroads between Russia and China.
“By entering this market, we aim to expand distribution deeper into central Asia, introducing our premium craft vodka to more consumers in this part of the world.”
Tito’s move into Mongolia follows the brand’s expansion in European travel retail earlier this month, as well as its distribution agreement with Société Dugas in France in April.
Dilshat Makhmutov, Silk Route Trading marketing and business development director, added: “We have high expectations for Tito’s in Mongolia. It will compete against local brands as well as global players, but its quality and affordability will give it an advantage amongst this receptive audience.
“Success in the off-trade is our priority, however we also have an opportunity to build Tito’s in the developing on-trade.”
