Funkin Pro Sugar Free Syrup has been designed to tap into the growing consumer appetite for low-alcohol and low-sugar alternatives.
Each 100ml of Funkin Pro Sugar Free Syrup contains only one calorie.
Funkin Pro Sugar Free Syrup is suitable for vegans and is available in cases of six 740ml bottles, priced at RRP £4.50 (US$5.70). It has a 12-month shelf life.
Ben Anderson, marketing director at Funkin Cocktails, said: “We have run a number of successful trials with key consumers serving around 2,000 cocktails and there has been no negative customer feedback on taste and no negative impact on sales.
“Taste and quality are of paramount importance to us at Funkin Cocktails and our sugar-free syrup has been developed specifically to feature in cocktails.
“The cocktail market is creative, dynamic and constantly evolving and it is vital that we offer our customers a portfolio of products that best suit their requirements and the latest trends.”
In April, Funkin released four ready-to-drink canned cocktails, each designed to replicate freshly shaken mixed drinks.
