Grey Goose launches ‘groundbreaking’ cocktail machine

Bacardi’s Grey Goose vodka is aiming to “revolutionise cocktail culture” with the launch of what it claims is the world’s first sub-zero draught cocktail tap system.

Grey Goose’s new cocktail tap system aims to “revolutionise cocktail culture”

Said to “surpass any existing tap or draught system on the market”, the new technology is the result of “extensive research and development”.

The system has been designed for a variety of drinks to be served with ease and at speed, producing consistent serves at sub-zero temperatures. It can be charged with either nitrogen to create drinks with a creamy texture, or carbonation to produce sparkling drinks.

Lee Applbaum, global chief marketing officer for Grey Goose, said: “The new draught tap system is a groundbreaking innovation that captures the imagination of cocktail culture and places Grey Goose at the heart of more occasions and celebrations; bringing more opportunities for cocktail lovers to treat themselves, without having to compromise on the quality of their drinks.

“Grey Goose is a versatile spirit that enhances every occasion and serve, from the classics to contemporary. The new, innovative draught tap system has been designed with this versatility in mind, allowing bars to cater for a wide assortment of drinks now and into the future.”

According to Grey Goose, the technology differs from other tap cocktail systems on the market as it is able to instantly chill liquid on demand, meaning bar staff do not need to pre-chill kegs.

Bar-goers can see the intricacies of the system, which will pop up at a number of events and bars over the summer, through its transparent casing.

As part of a major brand refresh earlier this year, Grey Goose launched its Live Victoriously global platform, which is centred around the idea of celebrating big and small moments.
