Chase Distillery to host Rock the Farm festival in June

Single estate distillery Chase is gearing up to host its Rock the Farm festival and the Chase Cup global cocktail competition next month.

Chase’s Rock the Farm festival promises music, distillery tours and a food village

On 3-4 June, Chase Distillery will welcome 1,000 industry guests to the summer event at its family-run Herefordshire farm, where its single estate spirits are made.

Guests will enjoy a line-up of live music as well as an on-site street food village and cocktail bars hosted by Chase and industry friends. Distillery and farm tours will also be available during the two-day event.

The festival will see the return of the Chase Cup competition, which gives bartenders the chance to win a £2,500 cash prize, an all-expenses-paid guest ambassadorship trip to Bar Convent Berlin, the Rock the Farm 2019 trophy, and a year’s supply of potato-based spirits by Chase.

Heats for the Chase Cup competition are running between March and May, with UK regional rounds in London, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester, and international heats in America, Australia, Hong Kong, the UAE, Spain, Italy, Germany and Holland.

Finalists will be invited to compete at Rock the Farm on 3-4 June. On the day, a panel of judges will be looking for cocktails that champion Chase’s home-grown and field-to-bottle ethos, highlighting sustainability within the industry.

“We’re extremely proud to create an award-winning product that comes from our humble potato farm,” commented James Chase, head ambassador for Chase Distillery, which was established in 2008.

“Rock The Farm gives us the opportunity to welcome those who share in our passion to explore Chase Distillery and celebrate with us.”
