Sipsmith debuts ready-to-drink G&Ts
By Nicola CarruthersBeam Suntory-owned Sipsmith has launched canned ready-to-drink (RTD) gin and tonics in the UK.
Sipsmith has launched canned gin and tonics in the UKThe new RTDs contain Sipsmith London Dry Gin combined with either regular tonic water or low-calorie tonic water. The 250ml cans have an abv of 7.3%.
Launched in time for summer, the Sipsmith Gin & Tonic and Gin & Light Tonic Cans tap into “on-the-go G&T occasions” such as barbecues, picnics or festivals.
Jared Brown, master distiller for Sipsmith, said: “We believe all gin experiences should be of the same uncompromising quality, whether gin lovers are sipping a G&T in a bar, the comfort of their own home, or out and about.
“Perfect for on-the-go sipping, these cans are available in both regular and light, so there’s an option for whichever suits you best.”
The Sipsmith Gin & Tonic and Gin & Light Tonic Cans have an RRP of £3 (US$3.88) per 250ml can.
The RTDs are available to buy from British supermarkets Ocado and Co-op, and will be rolled out to wider retailers including Tesco and Waitrose from early May.
