Nemiroff also noted that the 5.5% jump was “well ahead” of the “global average of 1.5%” in terms of vodka volume sales.

Created in Nemyriv, Ukraine, Nemiroff is now available in more than 80 countries. The brand also attributed its success last year to its global expansion, which included launching in Spain, New Zealand and Africa.

In 2018, the brand became the official sponsor of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Irina Zhygunova, global chief marketing officer of Nemiroff Vodka, said: “It’s no surprise that global vodka consumers have become jaded by the over-proliferation of new brands and flavours.

“We’ve taken the time – particularly over the last several years – to reposition the Nemiroff brand and our marketing efforts, while adding new markets, and sophisticated vodka consumers around the world are responding.”
