Daffy’s debuts mulberry-flavoured gin
Scottish brand Daffy’s has released its first permanent line extension in the UK – Mulberry Gin.
Daffy’s Mulberry Gin is the brand’s first flavoured expression
Daffy’s Mulberry Gin is distilled in a traditional copper pot still with gin botanicals before being steeped with mulberries for several days.
Bottled at 40.4% abv, the mulberry-flavoured expression is described as having “rich and fruity flavours with undertones of yesteryear sweet shops”.
The new gin is recommended served with tonic, on the rocks or in cocktails such as a Bramble.
“We are delighted to announce the release of our new permanent addition to the Daffy’s family and our very first ever fruit-flavoured gin,” said Chris Molyneaux, founder and master distiller.
“The Mulberry Gin is very different to our classic Daffy’s, whilst maintaining the smoothness and drinkability the classic is famous for.”
Daffy’s Mulberry Gin has an RRP of £25 (US$32.71) for 500ml and is initially available in Sainsbury’s stores across Scotland and independent retailers. It will launch in the UK this month.
