Echo Falls creates gin-infused rosé wine
As the trend for all things pink becomes increasingly popular, Accolade Wines has created a new rosé wine and gin fusion under its Echo Falls brand.
Echo Falls Rosé Wine and Gin Fusion is made with strawberry and raspberry flavours
The Echo Falls Rosé Wine and Gin Fusion is made by blending the brand’s rosé wine with a ‘gin fusion’, and summer fruit flavours of strawberry and raspberry. It has an abv of 9%.
This is the second cross-category release from Echo Falls, which brought out a vodka infusion in 2018.
David White, marketing director at UK wine company Accolade Wines, said: “The spirit-infused wine is a unique style which combines all of Echo Falls’ much-loved qualities with the latest drinks trends, creating an exciting new sales opportunity for the trade with a product that both existing and loyal consumers will love.
“Our sweeter-styled fruit fusion appeals to those who like the idea of wine but can find the taste challenging.
“We are confident that the new spirit fusion enhances the Echo Falls portfolio and also offers a new drinking occasion to those who enjoy gin.”
The Echo Falls Rosé Wine and Gin Fusion is available from Nisa and Co-op stores in the UK at an RRP of £5 (US$7) per bottle.
Pink Gin has soared in popularity over the last couple of years, with brands including Gordon’s, That Boutique-y Gin Company, and Adnams all releasing their own pink variants.
