London bar channels Dior for new cocktail list
The May Fair Bar in London has launched a list of cocktails inspired by Christian Dior to mark a new exhibition featuring famous garments created by the French fashion house.

The menu consists of three cocktails that celebrate three iconic dresses from Dior’s 1954 and 1955 collections.
It has been launched to coincide with the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibition.
The Écarlate cocktail is modelled on Dior’s red silk, organza net and tulle dress of the same name, and consists of Grey Goose Vodka, hibiscus and guava infusion, Solerno blood orange liqueur and Cocchi Americano Rosa, topped with Fever-Tree soda.
Pérou is inspired by Dior’s richly embroidered dress and combines Hennessy Fine de Cognac, honey, sage, lemon and Moët & Chandon Brut.
The Soirée de Décembre black silk evening dress is channelled in the menu’s final cocktail, which contains Ciroc Vodka, charcoal, Aperol, kalamansi, orange and egg white.
The May Fair Bar is based in The May Fair Hotel, the official hotel of London Fashion Week (15-19 February).
