Gavin has more than 10 years of international experience in the drinks industry, and has worked across various high-end hotels and independent bars.

In 2006, Gavin took up his first position in the drinks industry at Twentytwo, a leading Maltese bar.

In 2012, he moved back to the UK and into the role of head bartender at the Limewood Hotel in Hampshire, before working as senior bartender at Scarfes Bar, London, for two years.

He then undertook his first managerial position at Nola in east London, where he relaunched the bar’s image before working with renowned chef Tom Kerridge on numerous projects, consulting both locally and internationally.

Gavin said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team. The Bloomsbury Club Bar has been really innovative in the way they work with brands and other bars across the world.

“The walls in the main bar area are adorned with artwork and books synonymous with the Bloomsbury Set, with a subtle English colonial influence. It has a traditional member’s club feel, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their evening in style.”
