The Ivy Soho debuts music-themed cocktails

The Ivy Soho Brasserie in London is marking its second birthday with the launch of a new cocktail menu that celebrates Soho’s musical heritage.

The Satisfaction cocktail pays homage to rock band The Rolling Stones

Created by bar manager Will Beatty, the 10 new cocktails will pay homage to Britain’s most-loved musicians including the late David Bowie and rock band The Clash.

Cocktails on the list include Ziggy Stardust, a combination of Ketel One Citroen, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao, vanilla syrup and lemon juice, garnished with gold glitter, and Satisfaction, which mixes Plymouth Sloe Gin, Luxardo Maraschino, hibiscus and rose tea blend, lemon juice and egg white.

“I’m very excited to reveal our new cocktails, all of which celebrate Soho and the area’s ties to music,” said Beatty.

“We had a lot of fun developing these new recipes and felt that adding a musical theme really embodied the character of The Ivy Soho Brasserie.”

As part of the celebrations, the Soho venue will host a DJ on Saturdays from 9 February to 2 March.

The new cocktail menu will be available at the Ivy Soho Brasserie from 4 February.
