American whiskey brands to watch in 2019

Speaking to The Spirits Business towards the end of last year, outgoing Beam Suntory CEO Matt Shattock said Maker’s Mark had the potential to become the “world’s first global craft whiskey”, adding that the brand will be a “very big focal point” for the group.

In July, Maker’s Mark launched its first integrated marketing campaign in the UK for 10 years, and in October unveiled its first global travel retail exclusive.
