Captain Morgan launches Christmas party competition
Diageo-owned spiced rum brand Captain Morgan has launched a social media contest for holiday revellers to win a chance to celebrate with chief party officer Adam Devine.
The competition is taking place on Captain Morgan’s Instagram account, and fans of the brand are being asked to comment on posts explaining why the Lego Batman actor needs to “crash” their house parties.
Devine said: “With all the house parties happening this season, I challenge all my festive fans to give us the best reasons for coming to their holiday soirée because I’ve got my ugly sweater and frosted cookies ready.
“I don’t know where the evening will take us, but one thing’s for sure, it’s going to be one helluva night in.”
The winner of the Instagram competition will have their holiday house party transformed into a “Captain’s Night In”, with bright lights on the outside, holiday sweaters, a life-sized snow globe and more.

“Whether they’re competing for the ugliest holiday outfit or playing yuletide games, holiday partygoers are staying in to enjoy the evening responsibly. Captain Morgan announced it had appointed Devine as its chief party officer back in August this year.
