Cannabis oil-infused vodka set to launch
As the cannabis beverage market grows, a vodka distilled five times and infused with cannabis oil is preparing to launch in Amsterdam.
Weedka will launch in Amsterdam in 2019
Carrying the strapline ‘live the high life!’, Weedka is said to be “well balanced” with a “fine taste” and a “soft finish”.
With an abv of 40%, Weedka is recommended consumed neat, or mixed with ginger beer or cola.
Weedka contains no THC or other psychoactive substances and was created in collaboration with Herman Jansen Beverages in Schiedam, in the Netherlands.
The vodka will be available from distributors as of 1 January 2019.
In October, Canada became the second nation to legalise recreational cannabis use, meaning numerous drinks companies became active in the market.
