VK launches Christmas jumper giveaway
By Owen BellwoodGlobal Brands-owned VK is offering imbibers the chance to win a branded Christmas jumper as part of a social media campaign to promote its new watermelon-flavoured expression.
VK will be giving away its Christmas jumper to drinkers who find its watermelon flavour in a mixed packIn select mixed packs of the ready-to-drink (RTD) brand, drinkers may find a bottle of VK Watermelon, alongside the brand’s Blue, Orange & Passion Fruit, Tropical, Black Cherry, Strawberry & Lime and Apple & Mango expressions.
Those who find a bottle of VK Watermelon in their pack may be in with a chance of winning a VK Christmas jumper if they share a photo of their purchase on social media.
Alongside the competition, VK will also run a targeted celebrity influencer campaign to promote the competition and the new flavour – which is expected to reach nearly three million consumers.
Jen Draper, marketing director at Global Brands, said: “We’ve had a phenomenal response to the new watermelon flavour so far on social media with people in their thousands desperate to try the latest addition to the range.
“This is our way of allowing them to do just that ahead of the main launch in 2019, rewarding our loyal fans but in an engaging and authentic VK way.”
The RTD brand, which unveiled its watermelon-flavoured bottling earlier this year, has also recently demonstrated continued year-on-year growth.
