Slingsby Gin supports London’s street musicians

Yorkshire-based gin brand Slingsby has partnered with The Ivy Tower Bridge to support Busk in London, an initiative that encourages street performers.

Slingsby Gin has created a number of cocktails to be served as part of the collaboration

As part of the collaboration, a series of Busk In London musicians will perform at the London restaurant on select occasions from November 2018 to summer 2019. The first set of performances in November will take on a festive theme.

During the events, guests will be able to enjoy a series of bespoke cocktails created by Slingsby Gin and The Ivy Tower Bridge’s bar team. Signature serves will include The Gooseberry Fizz, which combines Slingsby Gooseberry Gin and cinnamon syrup topped with Prosecco, and the Rhubarb & Plum Flip, made from Slingsby’s Rhubarb gin, lemon juice and a plum foam.

Nicholas Garcia, general manager at The Ivy Tower Bridge, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Busk in London and Slingsby Gin in support of the abundance of incredibly talented street performers here in London. We’re looking forward to hosting each performer in the restaurant during the build up to Christmas.”

Upcoming performances include critically acclaimed indie pop artist Natalie Shay on 29 November and award-winning singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Hattie Briggs on 6 December.

The Ivy Tower Bridge, Slingsby Gin and Busk In London will announce details of the April and summer performances in the coming months.
