Bacardi-owned Patrón has launched the latest iteration in its series of limited edition one litre bottlings of its Silver Tequila.

The limited edition bottle reflects Mexico’s history of glass craftsmanship

The fourth release in the annual series of collectible bottlings has been designed to reflect Mexico’s rich tradition and history of glass craftsmanship.

The showpiece bottle is decorated with an intersecting white and green ribbon design, and has a metallic stopper engraved with the Patrón bee. Each bottle also features a metal label and is packaged in a gift bag.

Lee Applbaum, global chief marketing officer at Patrón Tequila, said: “With 33% more Tequila than our standard size bottle, the 2018 Limited Edition one litre offers a unique gifting option for those who appreciate high-quality luxury spirits.

“Every year the limited edition bottle is a fan favourite that incorporates the best in quality, craftsmanship, design and gift giving functionality from Patrón.”

The 2018 Limited Edition Patrón Silver Tequila one litre bottle is available at select spirits and liquor retailers across the US for a suggested retail price of US$69.99.

Earlier this year, the premium Tequila brand announced it had teamed up with mixer producer Fever-Tree to create a citrus-flavoured tonic water to complement its Tequila
