Jägermeister reveals Ice Cold Wrap competition
By Melita KielyHerbal liqueur brand Jägermeister has released a limited edition bottle featuring a competition that can only be accessed once the bottle has been chilled down to -15 degrees Celsius.
The bottle must be chilled to reveal the competition codeDesigned to highlight the brand’s ‘ice-cold’ message, once chilled to the optimum temperature, a unique code will be revealed on the packaging.
This will then lead customers to the Jägermeister e-shop, where they will be able to win an array of prizes, such as up to £20 off a Jagershop (including free delivery) or an exclusive single bottle tap machine. Every bottle has a prize.
The bottle is available exclusively at Morrisons supermarket stores across the UK at a “discounted price” of £16 per 700ml bottle.
A total of 20,000 limited edition bottles have been released and the competition will run until the end of May next year.
Giles Mountford, category manager, said: “Jägermeister wants to encourage fans to enjoy the product the way it should be consumed, ice-cold.
“Not only is it one of the first drinks brands to create this unique packaging, but the bottle has to get down to a staggering -10 to -15 degrees to change the thermochromic inks, which is much colder than average.”
Earlier this month, Jägermeister launched a £1 million (US$1.28m) UK advertising campaign that it hopes will deliver 30m impressions in the lead up to Christmas.
Prizes include an exclusive single bottle tap machine
