Xpresso Martini RTD launches in the UK

UK start-up company Club Belmont has released its inaugural product – a ready-to-drink (RTD) Espresso Martini.

Xpresso Martini is bottled at 7.9% abv

The first product from the London-based business is called Xpresso Martini and is described as a “modern” update on the coffee-based classic cocktail.

The single-serve variant is a blend of 24-hour cold brew Italian coffee, Polish-recipe vodka from London-based Bimber Distillery, pure cane sugar and Mexican coffee liqueur.

Bottled at 7.9% abv, the expression is available in a 150ml glass bottle and has a shelf life of 12 months.

Founder Sam Aird said: “Why should people have to compromise on taste because they’re not at an expensive bar? I’ve set out to give consumers a bar-quality cold brew cocktail in a bottle, which makes it easy to create first-class cocktails at home or at parties.

“I’ve been experimenting for over 10 years with recipes at home, swapping one vodka for other and using many different cold brew coffees, Xpresso Martini is the product of 96 rounds of testing and I’m delighted to have the support to finally bring it to a wider market.”

Xpresso Martini is available in the UK from Fortnum & Mason, Bimber Distillery, The Whisky Exchange, the Art & Craft chain of stores and bars, and the Southbank Centre in London. It has an RRP of £3.99 (US$5.15) for individual bottles, or £21 (US$27) for a pack of six.
