William Grant & Sons debuts bartending initiative

Glenfiddich owner William Grant & Sons has launched a new bartending initiative in Edinburgh, which will feature a series of talks from its UK brand ambassador team.

Unwrapped is exclusively for bartenders and free to attend

Taking place on Monday 29 October, the event, called Unwrapped: The other side of bartending, is exclusively for bartenders.

Unwrapped aims to equip bartenders with “tools, knowledge and insights beyond jiggers and shakers”.

Due to be held at Assembly Roxy in Edinburgh, sessions will cover topics including how to keep up team morale, the power of storytelling and the link between nature and creativity.

Following the talks, there will be “immersive” brand experiences including the Hendrick’s Gin Tini Martinis and the making and photographing of Monkey Shoulder’s Lazy Old Fashioned.

From 7pm-11pm on Monday, the UK brand ambassador team will take over the bar at The Voyage of Buck to raise money for SANE, a UK mental health charity.

Fabiano Latham, Reyka Vodka UK brand ambassador, said: “Unwrapped is a great opportunity for all the brand ambassadors to share experiences and insights from the industry, as well as the passion we have for our brands.

“We want to create a benchmark for industry training programmes by delivering an engaging and interactive event where on-trade teams can come together and truly benefit in years to come.”

To attend the brand experiences, email wgsuk.events@wgrant.com or speak to one of the brand ambassadors.
