Label 5 asks public to vote for next bottle design
By Owen BellwoodBlended Scotch whisky brand Label 5 is preparing to launch an online contest in search of its next limited edition street art-inspired bottle design.
Label 5 will launch the search for its latest street art-inspired bottle design on 18 OctoberThe online competition, which will launch on 18 October, follows the La Martiniquaise-owned brand’s Power of 5 World Tour, which saw leading graffiti artists create works inspired by the number five.
The competition will give fans of the blended whisky the chance to vote for their favourite design, which will include works created by the five artists that took part in the world tour.
Artists including Rami Mouallem, Szabotage and Arnaud Kool created art for the Power of 5 World Tour, during which the brand travelled to London, Beirut, Brussels, Hong Kong and Mexico to collaborate with different artists.
The competition will launch on the brand’s social media platforms on 18 October. Members of the public will then be able to vote for their favourite design, which will be incorporated into a limited edition graffiti-inspired bottling, due for release next year.
