Famous Grouse shows off ‘playful’ side with new ad

Blended Scotch whisky brand The Famous Grouse has launched a new global advertising campaign for the festive season.

The new campaign highlights The Famous Grouse’s “playful, unpretentious character”

Created by Leith Agency, the light-hearted campaign features the work of animation group Flaunt Production.

It will “target regular blended whisky drinkers across numerous channels in key markets” in the run up to Christmas, promoting The Famous Grouse as a smooth and characterful whisky.

“The Famous Grouse is a blended scotch enjoyed in 93 markets across the world,” said Yvonne Whitehouse, global marketing manager for The Famous Grouse. “We stand apart not only because of our smooth, well rounded flavour – but also our playful, unpretentious character.

“This new campaign brings both these elements to life in a very memorable way that will resonate well with our blended whisky loving audience.”

The first television advert aired in the UK on 15 October and will roll out internationally ahead of Christmas.

Earlier this year, The Famous Grouse launched a new range that was said to offer fans an “affordable” way to experiment with new whisky styles.
