Early Times supports K9s for Warriors

Brown-Forman-owned American whiskey brand Early Times will donate US$1 from the sale of every bottle to non-profit organisation K9s for Warriors throughout November.

Early Times will donate US1 from each 750ml bottle sold to K9s for Warriors

K9s for Warriors is an organisation that trains service canines for military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury, and other trauma resulting from military service.

The Kentucky whiskey brand will donate US$1 from the sale of its 750ml bottles throughout November to the charity, up to the value of US$25,000.

Early Times senior brand manager, Dallas Cheatham, said: “The approaching holiday season is a time to give thanks, and give back. As a truly American whiskey brand with a long-storied history rooted in this country, we feel that it’s our duty to give back.

“Although our efforts will never amount to the sacrifices these veterans have made for our country, it’s truly humbling to rally together with friends of Early Times to make a difference.”

Early Times has donated over US$200,000 to K9s For Warriors since the inception of its partnership to help train service dogs for military veterans.

Tahoma Guiry, K9s for Warriors’ chief marketing officer, said: “We are so thankful for Early Times’ continued support of our nation’s heroes. Their donations have gone a long way in our programme to enable us to continue saving lives of rescue dogs and veterans.”
