Halewood updates Whitley Neill bottle design

Halewood Wines & Spirits is hoping to continue a “transformational 12 months” for its Whitley Neill gin brand with the launch of a new bottle design.

The new taller and slimmer bottle will roll out across Whitley Neill’s range of spirits

The brand’s new glass bottle features Whitley Neill embossed onto the shoulder and the phrase ‘distilling for 8 generations’ embossed at the bottom of the bottle.

Each bottle also includes an indentation for the label while retaining the signature colour of each expression.

Designed for “added elegance and ease-of use”, the bottles are taller and slimmer in profile – said to provide bartenders and consumers with greater grip, making it easier to pour.

James Stocker, marketing director at Halewood Wines & Spirits, said: “The introduction of a fresh, distinctive bottle was important to the brand’s future growth in the premium segment, in which look and feel is an important consideration for consumers and hugely influential in their purchasing decision within this category.

“The new packaging follows a transformational 12 months for Whitley Neill, which has seen significant growth in the brand in the UK and internationally, as well as securing major listings across its estate within the on- and off-trade, and winning multiple awards within the industry’s most prestigious spirit competitions.”

The new bottle will roll out across Whitley Neill’s range of spirits, which includes eight gin expressions and three vodkas.

Bottled at 43% abv, each expression is available in a 70cl format and has an RRP of £26 (US$33.83).
