Canadian Mist throws tricks into latest campaign

Brown-Forman-owned whisky brand Canadian Mist has recruited three trick shot artists for its latest marketing campaign, called Garage Games.

Canadian Mist recruited three trick shot artists who specialise in pool, ping pong and card-throwing

The latest creative campaign comprises three 30-second adverts, each featuring three world-renowned trick shot artists who specialise in pool, ping pong and card-throwing tricks.

In each video, the trick shot artists demonstrate their talents with Canadian Mist as the focal point.

Skills featured in the campaign, which was developed by creative agency PriceWeber, include tossing a playing card that slices garnishes or nailing the “impossible” pool shot.

Canadian Mist senior brand manager Dallas Cheatham said: “Canadian Mist is a go-to for our consumers when hanging out with friends and neighbours because it keeps the drinking occasion simple and allows for more time hanging with those who matter most.

“We’re excited to connect on our consumers’ turf and illustrate the simplicity of Canadian Mist in the finest garage bars through this national campaign.”

Canadian Mist will roll out its first Garage Games video throughout the US across streaming services, including Hulu, and social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Robert Trinkle, vice president and account director at PriceWeber, said: “Neighbourhood garages are a go-to hangout for the Canadian Mist consumers, so we challenged ourselves to find a memorable way to communicate Canadian Mist’s ‘simplicity’ message in the environment of the neighbourhood garage.

“The amazing trick shots performed by the three trick shot artists we brought into the campaign provided the perfect juxtaposition that accomplished our creative goal and will entertain the Canadian Mist consumer.”
