Distribution company When We Are Giants has added Knappogue Castle Irish Whiskey to its portfolio of brands in the UK and Ireland.

When We Are Giants will distribute Knappogue Castle Single Malt Irish Whiskey in the UK and Ireland, including the brand’s 12-, 14- and 16-year-old expressions.
Tony Carroll, European sales manager at brand owner Castle Brands, said: “Ireland and the UK are key markets for Knappogue Castle Irish Whiskey and we are delighted to have partnered with When We are Giants.
“Their team has excellent industry contacts and ‘on the ground’ distribution expertise. This, together with a real appreciation of the history and heritage behind the Knappogue Castle brand, will ensure we become key players in this fast-growing Irish whiskey market in the coming months.”
When We Are Giants will be rolling out the brand’s portfolio of Irish whiskeys to independent and national wholesalers and online retailers in the UK and Ireland with immediate effect.

Knappogue Castle producer Castle Brands reported that its 2018 second quarter had seen a 6.5% net sales increase, bolstered by the “continued strong growth” of its Jefferson’s Bourbon and Irish whiskey portfolio.
