Treaty Oak Distilling overhauls packaging design

Texas-based gin and whiskey producer Treaty Oak Distilling has updated its bottle design and is preparing to expand into seven additional US states.

Treaty Oak Distilling worked with Crispin Porter+Bogusky to redesign its bottles

Treaty Oak Distilling, which was founded in 2006, has partnered with spirits sales organisation Mahalo Spirits Group to expand its distribution across the US.

The whiskey and gin producer will expand its US footprint beyond Texas into seven new markets, including California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Tennessee and Virginia.

In preparation for its distribution expansion, Treaty Oak Distilling has refreshed the look of its website, company logo, and its bottle and label designs.

The American spirits producer worked with creative agency Crispin Porter+Bogusky to overhaul its bottles, which now feature paint-dipped background colours and textures.

The brand’s gin bottles now include paint strokes over a “delicate juniper stem wrapped in oak leaves”.

Daniel Barnes, founder of Treaty Oak Distilling, said: “We strive to strike the perfect balance between heritage and innovation.

“Our willingness to be different based on knowledge and expertise is what sets us apart.”

Through the deal with Mahalo Spirits Group, Treaty Oak Distilling will distribute its Red-Handed Bourbon, Red-Handed Rye, Ghost Hill Bourbon, Waterloo No. 9 Gin, Waterloo Antique Gin and Waterloo Old Yaupon Gin across eight states in the US.
