The Langham hotel launches minibar RTD cocktails

Bottled cocktail specialist World of Zing has partnered with luxury London hotel The Langham to create a range of ready-to-drink (RTD) serves.

World of Zing has created the Earl Grey Old Fashioned, Cherry Blossom Martinez and Sherry Wood Negroni for The Langham

Taking inspiration from the heritage of the hotel, the three cocktails include the Earl Grey Old Fashioned, Cherry Blossom Martinez and Sherry Wood Negroni.

The Earl Grey Negroni, inspired by The Langham’s afternoon tea, mixes Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Earl Grey syrup and Bourbon bitters. Meanwhile, the Cherry Blossom Martinez, crafted to honour The Langham Hong Kong, is made from Bombay Sapphire Gin, Martini Rubino, cherry blossom tincture, orange bitters, Sangue Morlacco liqueur and Maraschino.

Finally, the Sherry Wood Negroni has been inspired by the classic European dishes of restaurant Roux at Landau at the London hotel. It combines Bombay Sapphire Gin, Martini Rosso, grapefruit liqueur and a Sherry wood infusion.

Presented in 250ml bottles, the cocktails are available exclusively as part of The Langham’s in-room dining menu.

Pritesh Mody, founder of World of Zing, said: “With the only facility in Europe that can pre-batch cocktails with the same care and complexity found in the best bars, we are hugely proud to list The Langham London hotel amongst our clients.

“Indeed, as the home of the Artesian Bar, we had to be particularly conscious of The Langham’s world-renowned cocktail reputation. As such, we paid considerable attention to the heritage of the venue in order to create a selection of cocktails that matched the incredible standards set by the Langham’s existing drinks offering.”

This latest project from World of Zing means the company now supplies more than 150 on-trade venues nationwide, ranging from the Doyle Collection Hotels to Italian restaurant chain Carluccio’s.
