Maria Vieira, of the East London Liquor Company (ELLC), designed the winning recipe
Maria Vieira, of the East London Liquor Company (ELLC), designed this year’s winning recipe, which highlighted the famous mustard from the brand’s home city.
To create the liqueur, black and brown mustard seeds were macerated in alcohol for two weeks, before being mixed with a little pepper, sugar and honey, among other ingredients.
Gabriel Boudier Mustard Liqueur is recommended or putting a twist on the Bloody Mary (the Mustard Mary) and the Tom Collins (the Mustard Collins).
Bottled at 20% abv, Gabriel Boudier Mustard Liqueur is available from Master of Malt at an RRP of £14.95 (US$19.35) per 500ml. It will be distributed in the UK by Emporia Brands.
