Chopin Imports names new COO
Portobello Road Gin’s exclusive US marketing company, Chopin Imports Limited, has appointed Charles Kane to the role of chief operating officer (COO).

Kane will overlook and be accountable for all operating aspects of Chopin Imports, including growth of the company.
Chopin Imports is also the exclusive marketing company for Chopin Vodka, Dorda Liqueurs, Clase Azul Tequila, La Pinta Pomegranate Liqueur and Australian Bitters.
Tadeusz Dorda, founder and CEO of Chopin Imports, said: “Chuck’s [Charles’] ability to build brands, lead teams and increase profits speaks for itself.
“Chuck’s commitment to designing and executing successful strategies for family-owned companies and small-batch brands makes him well positioned for this role.”
Kane has worked in the wine and spirits industry for more than 20 years covering the on- and off-trade, as well as small-batch spirits.
He most recently worked as vice president, national sales manager for 3 Badge Beverage Corporation where he directed the firm’s spirits sales division, and oversaw product innovation and new brand launches.
Kane has a level two certificate from the Master Court of Sommeliers and a certificate of international compliance from the department of commerce. He graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in human sciences.
