Henry Jeffreys to release The Home Bar book
By Melita KielyJournalist Henry Jeffreys is preparing to launch a new spirits book, The Home Bar, designed to offer advice to drinks enthusiasts on how to curate the ideal at-home bar.
The Home Bar by Henry Jeffreys will be published in October 2018In the book, Jeffreys explores the cultural history of social drinking and bar designs, and how this can be adapted to suit the home environment.
Advice includes the best bar surface to choose, how to make and store ice, and choosing cocktail makers, stools, stirrers and the best glassware.
The Home Bar also features 30 recipes for cocktails and apéritifs, including classic tipples and “avant garde” recipes from some of the industry’s leading bartenders.
The book will be published by Jacqui Small Publishing, part of The Quarto Group, on 18 October 2018 in hardback at an RRP of £25 (US$33).
