E&J Gallo to distribute Diplomático in US
American wine producer E&J Gallo has been appointed as the US distributor of Venezuelan rum brand Diplomático.
Diplomático rum will be available in the US through E&J Gallo
The deal will see E&J Gallo import three collections: The Tradition Range (US$26.99 to US$42.99), which includes Reserva Exclusiva; the Distillery Collection (US$79.99); and the Prestige Range (US$129.99 to US$269.99). Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Produced by Destilerías Unidas SA, the Diplomático Distillery, which sits at the foot of the Andes Mountains, has been producing rum since 1959.

E&J Gallo’s spirits portfolio includes Germain-Robin brandy, New Amsterdam Vodka and Gin and E&J Brandy, in addition to imported Scotch whiskies from Whyte & Mackay, including The Dalmore, Jura Single Malt and John Barr Blended.
