Cotswolds Distillery moves into travel retail
UK-based spirits producer the Cotswolds Distillery has launched its products in travel retail for the first time.

Initially launching at Birmingham, Bristol and East Midlands Airports in the UK, Cotswolds Distillery’s whisky and gin products will now be available for travellers to purchase.
Kathryn Kindness, country commercial category manager at World Duty Free, said: “As the UK’s leading travel retailer, we are always looking to expand our range with more local brands to offer to our customers, and the Cotswolds Distillery offers this with its natural spirits.
“Its award-winning Dry gin offers a blend of botanicals that is sure to be popular with domestic and international customers, along with the rich cream liqueur.
“We are also extremely delighted to be able to offer customers the single malt whisky which is the first single malt ever distilled in the Cotswold Countryside, bringing something special to World Duty Free.”
Travellers through the three UK airports will also be able to sample products and those flying out of Birmingham Airport can enjoy a film about the brand’s products, heritage and production processes.
Cotswolds Distillery’s three flagship spirits, Cotswolds Dry Gin, Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky and Cotswolds Cream Liqueur, will all be available to purchase in 700ml formats.
Last month, The Cotswolds Distillery announced it had “exceeded expectations” and raised £3 million (US$4.02m) to build a new visitor centre and expand its business.
