375 Park Avenue to distribute Castarède Armagnac

Armagnac house Castarède has appointed Kentucky-based 375 Park Avenue Spirits as its US distributor.

The entire Castarède Armagnac range will be distributed by 375 Park Avenue Spirits

The US importer, a division of the Sazerac Company, will distribute the entire Castarède range including the Blanche, VS 3 Year Old, VSOP 8 Year Old, XO 10 Year Old, Réserve de la Famille ranging from 20 to 30 years old, and the firm’s single vintages.

“We’re thrilled to be welcoming the iconic Castarède brand to the 375 Park Avenue Spirits family and in doing so further establishing our leadership position across this category in the US,” said Jason Schladenhauffen, president and COO for 375 Park Avenue Spirits.

“Few brands have the storied history that Castarède possesses and in today’s marketplace that carries significant weight with consumers at the point of purchase. Our ambition is to further educate the trade and consumers alike on this fast-growing category and in doing so help propel Castarède forward as a national category leader, which only seems fitting given the brands lineage.”

Castarède, which was founded in 1832 during the reign of Napoleon III, is the oldest registered French Armagnac trading house still in operation.

“I am delighted by this new partnership with 375 Park Avenue Spirits,” said Florence Castarède, sixth generation owner of Castarède.

“I have an immense respect for Sazerac Company’s history and achievements. We share the same values and passion.

“With 375 Park Avenue Spirits, I know that my Armagnacs Castarède have found a respectful, trustworthy, long-term partner.”
