The team will compete in the race this weekend (14-17 June) at the Circuit de la Sarthe in France.

Six brands from Yorkshire, including Slingsby Gin producer Spirit of Harrogate, Sheffield-based Bullion Chocolate, winemaker Laurel Vines and Yorkshire Tea, have joined the British car manufacturer in its Le Mans debut.

Clare Whitaker, marketing director at Spirit of Harrogate, said: “We are proud to be involved with another passionate local business who are flying the flag for Yorkshire.”

The six brands, including Wold Top Brewery and Harrogate Spring Water, will be supporting the team of drivers, technicians and engineers as they compete in the 24-hour endurance race, which is now in its 86th year.

Alex Balchin, director at Wold Top Brewery, said: “Manufacturing, whether it be cars or beer, is something that we consider of great importance, and being able to showcase this, together with the Yorkshire brand, is a brilliant opportunity and we’re grateful to Ginetta for choosing us to work with.”
