Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin to launch in UK
Cellar Trends is preparing to grow its Luxardo portfolio with the launch of Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin in the UK this summer.
Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin will first launch in the UK
With a deep red hue, the gin is described as having a “marasca cherry richness”, designed to complement the brand’s cherry-inspired range, which includes Maraschino, Sangue Morlacco cherry liqueur and Marasca Cocktail Cherries.
Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin is bottled at 37.5% abv and has an RRP of £28-30 per 700ml bottle.
Craig Chapman, marketing manager for Luxardo at Cellar Trends, said: “We are set to make it a high-impact launch year for Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin.
“[Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin] can be used as the main spirit in a cocktail and also be enjoyed in an unusual gin and tonic serve, giving a subtle rosy hue and intriguing nuance of flavour.
“We aim for as many bartenders as possible, and others in the trade, to taste it, and we will bring it alive with showcase events. Extensive consumer sampling is also planned.”
