Bombay Sapphire appoints North America ambassadors

Bacardi-owned Bombay Sapphire Gin has appointed three new brand ambassadors in North America: Alex Chien, Ryan Wainwright and Annemarie Sagoi.

Bombay Sapphire has recruited three ambassadors to cover North America

The trio will be tasked with engaging and connecting with consumers and trade professionals, delivering education and programming for Bombay Sapphire’s portfolio.

Chien has previously reached the finals of cocktail competitions such as the United States Bartenders Guild’s Most Imaginative Bartender Competition and Legacy Cocktail Competition. He will be based in New York.

Wainwright has overseen bar programmes in leading LA bars and will be responsible for programming and engagement across the US. Meanwhile, Sagoi boasts past experience working in top bars across North America and Asia.

Tom Spaven, Bombay Sapphire North America brand director, said: “Their experience in the cocktail world, coupled with their tremendous creativity and relevance with the new generation of bartenders make them the ideal candidates to represent Bombay Sapphire.

“The three ambassadors’ deep knowledge of the industry and their ability to inspire cocktail artistry to reach new heights will be instrumental for Bombay and the dynamic yet crowded new world of gin.”
