By Owen BellwoodEnglish gin brand Whitley Neill is preparing to launch in the US after signing a distribution deal with MS Walker.
Whitley Neill Gin will launch in the US through importer MS WalkerHalewood Wines & Spirits-owned Whitley Neill’s range of spirits includes a London Dry gin and a number of flavoured variants, including blood orange, raspberry and quince.
MS Walker has distribution links across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey, where Whitley Neill will be available for US$34.99 per 750ml bottle.
Gary Shaw, executive vice president of national sales at MS Walker, said: “As the popularity of gin gains steam in the United States, Whitley Neill is the perfect spirit for those looking to experience a gin with a refreshing new flavour profile that is not simply in-your-face juniper.
“Our market is still far behind the UK in terms of gin consumption and knowledge, but we strongly believe that innovative craft products like Whitley Neill will drive growth in this segment as Americans look to try something new.”
MS Walker recently announced plans to reintroduce John L Sullivan Irish Whiskey to the US, after purchasing the rights to the brand from Georgetown Trading Company.
