Smirnoff adds Raspberry Rosé to RTD range
Diageo has extended its Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer ready-to-drink (RTD) range with the launch of a new variant: Raspberry Rosé.
Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer Raspberry Rosé contains just 90 calories
Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer Raspberry Rosé (4.5% abv) joins the RTD range, alongside Orange Mango, Cranberry Lime and Watermelon.
Like the rest of the range, the 12oz can contains 90 calories and has zero sugar and no artificial sweeteners.
Described as a “bubbly blend” of raspberry and rosé, the expression is targeted at summer occasions including barbecues, bonfires and pool parties.
“America’s love affair with rosé is still going strong so our Raspberry Rosé is a natural addition to our hard seltzer portfolio,” said Krista Kiisk, brand director, flavoured malt beverages.
“Whether you’re someone who enjoys a crisp cocktail with dinner or you’re looking for the perfect summer drink, at 90 calories and one carb the marriage of raspberry rosé flavour with the refreshing taste of spiked seltzer is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser.”
The expression is available in the US for an RRP of US$8.99 for a six-pack of 12oz cans. All four flavours will be available in a variety 12-pack from mid-May.
In May last year, Diageo developed two new flavours for its Smirnoff Ice ready-to-drink brand extension specifically for the Korean market.
