Silent Pool Gin creates botanical garden for Chelsea Flower Show

English gin brand Silent Pool Gin has unveiled plans for a bespoke garden, which will be displayed as part of this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

The Silent Pool garden features elements to mirror the gin production process

The garden, designed by gardener David Neale, will be on display at the show, which takes place from 22-26 May.

The Silent Pool Gin Garden aims to reflect the brand’s home in the Surrey hills and the 24 botanicals used to make its gin.

It will feature “sleek, hard landscaping – including textural portland stone, purbeck walling and weathered oak – with drifts of soft planting,” all designed to create a “contemporary yet relaxing city haven”.

Hidden within the garden, there is also a nod to the gin-making process itself, through the use of polished copper distillation helmets, laser-cut copper panels and a central “citrus peel” sculpture.

The garden also features a raised infinity pool, which flows into a lower reflective pool, and a number of multi-stemmed trees to provide a private canopy.

The Silent Pool Gin Garden design, featured in RHS Chelsea Flower Show’s new Space To Grow category, was created by Neale and his company, Neale Richards Garden Design.
