Gautier celebrates award wins
Gautier Cognac has extended its trophy cabinet with a flurry of new tasting awards.
MBWS’s Gautier Cognac has received multiple accoladesThe brand, owned by Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits, secured a number of awards at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Gautier Extra 1755 received a double gold – awarded to products that receive all gold ratings from the judging panel – and the titles ‘Best Cognac’ and ‘Best Brandy’.
Gautier VSOP received double gold and was named ‘Best VSOP’. Double golds also followed for Gautier Pinar Del Rio and Gautier Tradition Rare. Gautier XO and Gautier VS, meanwhile, bagged silver medals.
Maison Gautier VS Cognac and Maison Gautier VSOP Cognac also performed well at the 2018 Ultimate Spirits Challenge Awards, where each were given a score of 94 out of 100.
