Dr. Adam Elmegirab’s takes gin across Europe

Scottish distiller Dr. Adam Elmegirab’s Bitters & Botanical Spirits is expanding distribution of its Old Tom Gin across Europe.

Dr. Adam Elmegirab’s Old Tom Gin will now be available in Germany, Austria and Greece

Through existing partnerships with Haromex Development and Barsoho.com, the producer will launch its inaugural gin expression in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece and Cyprus.

Dr. Adam Elmegirab’s has distributed its range of cocktail bitters through Haromex Development GmbH and Barsho.com since 2010 and 2014 respectively.

The group launched its inaugural gin expression in April this year.

Its Old Tom gin is produced in two steps: first, it is distilled in London with juniper berries, angelica root, orris root, coriander seed and citrus peel, before being shipped to Aberdeen where it is compounded with saffron and chamomile flowers.

The expression is sweetened with muscovado sugar and then bottled at 47% abv.

Dr. Adam Elmegirab’s recently announced its products would be available in Finland after signing a distribution deal with Vinoble Oy.
