Amber Beverage completes Think Spirits acquisition
Luxembourg-based Amber Beverage Group has completed its majority stake acquisition of Australian distributor Think Spirits for an undisclosed sum.
Riga Black Balsam is part of Amber Beverage Group’s portfolio
The deal was first revealed last month (April), when the group confirmed that Think Spirits founder and managing director Patrick Borg would remain in his position at the company. No further operational changes are expected.
Amber Beverage Group (ABG) specialises in the production, distribution, logistics and retail of alcoholic beverages, with brands such as Rooster Rojo Tequila and Riga Black Balsam.

Earlier this year, ABG appointed two non-executive directors to its supervisory board. In May 2017, ABG acquired a “strategic stake” in UK distributor Cellar Trends.
