Teeling launches final whiskey in Revival range
Teeling Whiskey Company has unveiled the fifth and final release in The Revival Commemorative Series, a collection of Irish whiskeys created to mark the opening of its Dublin distillery.
The Revival Volume V consists of 12-year-old single malt that was first aged in ex-Bourbon casks before being finished in a combination of Cognac and brandy barrels.
Limited to 15,000 bottles, the expression is bottled at 46% with no chill filtration.
On the nose, the expression has hints of toasted almond, freshly pressed grape and citrus. The palate is described as “creamy honey” with floral notes, cinnamon and lemon peel.
The original Revival bottling was produced in 2015 to mark the opening of the Teeling Whiskey Distillery, the first new distillery in Dublin in more than 125 years.
Teeling has also revealed plans for a celebratory single pot still bottling from the distillery’s first casks of new whiskey scheduled for August. The whiskey will be the first Irish whiskey distilled in Dublin for more than 40 years.
To celebrate the launch, 100 of the first bottles of the Teeling Whiskey Single Pot Still will be auctioned, with all profits going towards the Dublin 8 charities.
The Teeling Whiskey Single Pot Still will be released commercially in November.

The Revival Volume V is available to buy for an RRP of €120.00 (US$145.30).
It is available in Ireland at the Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Newmarket, Dublin Airport, The Celtic Whiskey Stop, and independent off licences before being launched into international markets such as the UK, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and Italy.
