Sugarlands Distilling Company sales grow 50%

Tennessee-based Sugarlands Distilling Company experienced a 50% increase in distribution sales in 2017.

Sugarlands Distilling Company makes a range of spirits, including flavoured moonshines

The company attributed the success to its expansion to 24 US states and the launch of four new spirits last year, including a Piña Colada-flavoured moonshine and a hazelnut rum.

Furthermore, the company also noted the opening of The Cocktail Kitchen in Gatlinburg, where the distillery is located, which offers an extensive cocktail list made with Sugarlands’ portfolio of moonshine, cream liqueurs, flavoured rum and rye whiskey.

This year, the distillery plans to continue its small batch launches of Roaming Man Rye Whiskey, with the next bottles available for pre-sale on 18 April via the Roaming Man website.

Ned Vickers, Sugarlands Distilling Company president, said: “We have fun making spirits and sharing them with our guests, and that has been the key to our success.

“With the introduction of our craft-distilled, small batch rye whiskey, we are excited to see how far our little mountain distillery can go.”
